Therapy philosophy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your full, complicated, human self without judgment. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you understand your patterns, reconnect with your own wisdom, and develop practical tools that fit the realities of your life.

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the understanding that people do not exist in isolation. We are shaped by our relationships, families, identities, communities, spiritual experiences, and the systems around us. I welcome individuals, couples, polyamorous and nontraditional relationship systems, LGBTQIA+ clients, and neurodivergent clients seeking care that respects the complexity of who they are.

When it aligns with a client's beliefs and goals, I also incorporate spiritual and reflective tools such as mindfulness, ritual, symbolism, journaling, tarot or oracle cards, seasonal reflection, and values-based intention setting. These tools are used as prompts for personal insight—not fortune-telling or replacements for evidence-based mental health care.

Together, we make space for both insight and action: understanding what brought you here while creating meaningful, sustainable change for where you want to go.

Interested in beginning therapy? Schedule a complimentary consultation to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and determine whether we are a good fit before scheduling your first session.

Sacred Compass

Spiritual & reflective services

Sacred Compass brings together evidence-informed reflection, spirituality, creativity, and practical tools for everyday life. Its guiding philosophy is:

  • Magic = Intention + Attention
  • Ritual = Repeated behavior with meaning

Sacred Compass programming helps people slow down, listen inward, and create meaningful practices that support reflection, connection, and intentional living. Offerings may include workshops, guided journaling, reflective tarot experiences, seasonal practices, practical rituals, speaking engagements, and community events.

The goal is not to predict the future or prescribe one spiritual path. It is to provide approachable tools that help people explore their own wisdom, give meaning to everyday moments, and take intentional action in their lives.
